GUJRANWALA: CPO Ehsan Tufail Thursday held a meeting with Ulema in connection with Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) to be celebrated on February 5.
CPO Ehsan Tufail said security arrangements had been completed for the auspicious day. He said Ulema’s suggestions would be considered in order to ensure peace on the day. Qari Saleem, Arif Nadeem, Ikram Babar, Iqbal and others were present in the meeting.
The CPO said police commandos would guard the route of Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) procession and volunteers shall assist the regular police force.
Walkthrough gates and CCTV cameras will be installed at congested spots and chief traffic officers shall ensure smooth flow of traffic, the CPO said and urged scholars to promote brotherhood among all sects and ensure peace.
