FAISALABAD, Jan 4: Customs intelligence and police seized on Friday 28 smuggled vehicles from a house on Canal Road and arrested two people, Chief Collector of Customs Intelligence Lutfullah said at a press conference.
He said the seized vehicles included two BMWs, five Mercedes, 11 cars and eight jeeps, all worth of Rs10 million. He said Saleem and Zahid were also taken into custody.
SSP (operations) Sadiq Ali who led the police force told Dawn that case under the Customs Act had been registered.
He said the building where vehicles were parked had underground structures.
He said Rs5 million smuggled fabric was also seized from the structure.
