Narowal: Saddar police claimed on Wednesday to have arrested a proclaimed offender carrying Rs1 million head money.
According to police, Zafar Iqbal alias Zafri of Chak 66/10-R was involved in the murder of 18 people and various incidents of bank robbery, theft and wanted by Narowal, Khanewal and Sialkot police.
On a tip-off, Saddar police conducted a raid at Neween Pully and arrested Zafar.
Narowal Saddar Station House Officer Javaid Husain said police recovered a Kalashnikov, 700 bullets and eight hand grenades from him. Narowal District Police Officer Dr Inaam Waheed Khan has announced prize and appreciation certificates for the raiding team.
