DERA GHAZI KHAN: Police arrested a man on Sunday for stealing another’s kidney in Taunsa.

In his complaint to police, Nazar Hussain, a resident of Shadan village near Dera Ghazi Khan, stated that he was operated upon in a private clinic in Taunsa.

“The doctors and paramedic staff at the clinic told me that I had kidney stones that needed to be removed. However, they removed my kidney during the operation and did not inform me. I learned about it later,” he said.

He accused the doctor and paramedic staff of being kidney thieves.

Dera Ghazi Khan District Police Officer (DPO) Ghulam Mubashar Maikan directed Investigation SP Abdur Raheem Sherazi to investigate the incident.

The inquiry officer on Sunday recorded the statements of Hussain and other witnesses. A dispenser working at the clinic has also been taken into custody. Police are looking for the doctor and other people nominated in the case.
