LAHORE, Nov 10: Capital City Police Officer Ch Shafiq Ahmed paid surprise visits to different Imam Bargahs and police pickets to check security arrangements on Sunday.
During the visit, he admonished two sub-inspector and an ASI for dereliction of duty and issued show-cause notices to them, says a handout. On the demand of managements of Imam Bargahs, he ordered deployment of more policemen and provision of walkthrough gates and metal detectors at five Imam Bargahs.
