Lahore. City traffic Police have setup pickets to check suspicious vehicles. According to a handout issued here on Thursday, CTO Tayyab Hafeez Cheema said the traffic police launched a crackdown on vehicles with tinted windows and illegal number plates.
During this campaign, case have been registered against 163,988 vehicle owners including 65,938 cars with tinted windows, 46,180 cars with illegal number plates, 51,607 car without plates and 263 cars with green number plates
STOLEN BIKE RECOVERED : Three traffic wardens recovered a stolen motorcycle from a thief in Ashiana Chowk in the Nishtar Colony police limits. The offender was handed over to the police along with the recovered motorcycle.
CTO Tayyab Hafeez Cheema announced commendatory certificates for the three wardens. The CTO Said wardens Ikhlaq, Imran and Tariq arrested Salman Maqsood with the stolen bike.
