Six Arrested For Killing Two Men

FAISALABAD. Thikriwala police on Sunday claimed to have arrested six men accused of shooting dead two people, including a Chinese national, five months ago. Thikriwala Station House Officer Sub Inspector Malik Jahangir told The Express Tribune that Umar Shehzad, a resident of Chak 8g-JB Ratan, and his accomplices had shot and killed Chinese citizen Rana Muhammad Aslam and his nephew Rana Muhammad Asghar.
 
He said they had also shot Rana Muhammad Afzal who was injured. The SHO said Aslam had had a property dispute with Shehzad. He said they were shot dead when they were returning home from his petrol station on May 25. He said the police had formed teams on the directions of the CPO which conducted a number of raids for the arrest of the suspects. He said the suspects were traced though . their cell phone.
 
He said the men were arrested on Saturday night in a raid. He said they were identified as Umar Shehzad, Ghulam Mustaf alias Misbah, Hameed Aslam, his brother Jameel Aslam, Muhammad Younus and Asif. The SHO said two Kalashnikovs and a i2-bore repeater was also seized.
