BAHAWALPUR, Dec 16: A man kidnapped two months ago has been recovered from Rahim Yar Khan district after payment of ransom.
Dawn learnt that Ghulam Mustafa, a landlord of Basti Ramaan near Sammsatta, was kidnapped about two months ago and his abductors had demanded a ransom of Rs4 million.
However, following negotiations, the final ransom amount paid was Rs2million after which Mustafa was released.
According to police sources, so far two of the accused involved in the abduction has been taken into custody.
