Lahore: brief skirmishes between two groups occurred in different parts of the city on Sunday after which Lahore Police beefed up security.
Members of two groups in Samanabad area scuffled over installing tents. They used abusive language against each other.
The police reached the scene and controlled the situation. Separately, locals of Rai-wind staged a protest demonstration against the Rawalpindi incident.
Police later dispersed them after assuring them of justice. Lahore Police have started extensive patrolling and deputed additional policemen at sensitive places.
