Sahiwal: The trail of an eight-year-old girl’s kidnap has led the police to a nomadic family at Pakpattan’s Basti Faridkot.
The police arrested two of the suspects during a raid in the shanty town. Nasreen, daughter of Yousaf, went missing while playing with other children on Saturday afternoon. Several people came out of their homes in response to announcements about the girl’s disappearance and found her unconscious in fields.
They informed Saddar SHO Rana Mushtaq about the incident and a police team with the help of sniffer dogs reached a shanty town nearby. Nasreen indentified the kidnappers and the police arrested Shahabaz and Murad while a woman fled.
