CIA Kotwali police arrested three kidnappers who murdered a 17-year-old youth even after receiving Rs 1 million ransom from his family.
This was disclosed by DSP CIA Kotwali Riaz Shah while addressing a Press conference here Tuesday. He said that the victim Bilal, who belonged to Gawalmandi, was kidnapped in December 2012, and his body was recovered from the house of one Saqib.
He said that the arrested criminals were identified as Saqib Nawaz, his wife Zarwa Saqib and Faraz Qaisar. Police also recovered a car, Rs 500,000 in cash, the victim’s bike, and his other valuables.
