13 traders held for selling pricey fogging machines

LAHORE: Lahore Police Wednesday under the supervision of DIG Operation Ghulam Mehmood Dogar raided Brandreth Road and arrested 13 wholesalers for selling fogging machines and other equipments at higher prices.

According to spokeman of Lahore Police, DIG Operations was informed that traders were selling fogging machines and other equipments at higher prices over which DIG Operations Ghulam Mehmood Dogar directed SSP VVIP Security Waqas to conduct a survey in this regard.

During the survey, it was revealed that wholesalers of Brandreth Road have increase prices of fogging machine up to 50 percent. After known this, DIG Operations along with Price Control Committee chairman Bilal Yasin raided the aforesaid place and arrested 13 registered a case against arrested men under Section 188.

On this occasion, DIG Operations said whoever was found involved in increasing price would be penalized according to law.
