Police claimed to have smashed a gang of robbers by arresting its four members involved street crimes. The police have recovered 10 motorcycles, mobile phones and illegal weapons from their possession.
SP Sadar Police division Malik Muhammad Awais told reporters at a press conference that the bandits confessed to more than 20 incidents of armed robberies which they had committed in different parts of the city.
The arrested bandits were identified as Akash Alias Kashi, ringleader of the gang, Shan alias Shani, Sahakeel and Qayyum. Further investigation was underway.
