Police continues to do well

LAHORE: Lahore police claimed to have arrested 23 culprits, including six target killers, during a crackdown against proclaimed offenders, drug pushers and dacoits in the last week. Police sources said on Sunday that the CIA police arrested six accused of a banned organization involved in sectarian killing and other heinous crimes. The accused were involved in killing of renowned personalities, including Allama Nasir abbas, Prof Shabiul Hassan, Shakar Ali Rizvi Advocated and Shamsur Rehman Moavia.

Naseerabad police have arrested five drug pushers and recovered 702 bottles liquor and 60 liters liquor from their possession. Cases have been registered against the accused. Ichhra police arrested two criminals and recovered 29 motorcycles from their possession.

Mustafa Town police arrested three dacoits of a gang and recovered a motorcycle, a cow, a laptop, six mobile phones and three pistols. The police had traced eight cases against them.

Sundar police arrested a drug pusher and recovered 1,500 liter liquor during the crackdown against drug pushers.

A special police team conducted a raid in Mohlanwal area and arrested the accused with narcotics, Sanda police arrested three accused of a dacoit gang and recovered a motorcycle, four mobile phones and three pistols.
