BAHAWALPUR: A regional police officer has directed his subordinates to ensure security of the people and property under the National Action Plan as educational institutions have reopened after summer vacation in Bahawalpur Region.
He directed the district police officers to implement the plan comprehensively, saying that not to show leniency towards the extremists and their supporters and take strict action against them.
RPO Ehsan Sadiq reviewed the current situation of the country, and asked the DPOs to pay special attention towards the security of Masajid, Imambargahs, important celebrities, sensitive locations and foreign engineers and tourists.
He said that throughout the region, schools and colleges have reopened after the summer vacation and their security be made fool proof, The National Action Plan be implemented comprehensively, he said. Issuing the directions regarding crimes, he asked them to focus on arrest of wanted criminals as they latter play an important role in increasing crimes.
