LAHORE: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Dr.Haider Ashraf suspended from service on Tuesday the Sundar Station house officer (SHO) and two sub-inspectors (SIs) for illegally arresting an innocent man and implicating him in a fake case.
According to the public relations branch, SHO Ijaz Ahmad with SIs Imtaiz Chan and Ghiasuddin detained the man and registered a fake FIR against him. The DIG directed Sadar Superintendent of Police Ijaz Shafi Dogar to probe into it. The SP held the three officers guilty.
