LAHORE: The Lahore Police was on a high alert for zeroing in on two explosive-laden vehicles–LED 7567 (Corolla Xli) and MD 481 (Mehran)–which sneaked into the city late Friday night. The police got tripped off with specific intelligence vis-à-vis these two vehicles, entering the city.
To counter any possible terrorist activity in Lahore, the DIG Operations ordered immediate response in the shape of beefing up the security.
Apart from establishing pickets in various parts of Lahore, special squads, along with regular mobiles, were rushed across the city to find the vehicles.
