LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) recovered unlicenced firearms and arrested eight culprits on Sunday.
According to the details, Khokhar Kothi, Okara recovered a carbine from the possession of a suspicious person namely Muhammad Irfan and a short gun from the possession of Ilyas Masih, Kasur. PHP team Sukh Chaina, Gujrat stopped a suspicious car and recovered a pistol from the possession of a driver namely Mohammad Asif.
PHP team also apprehended two drunkard persons, sitting in the said car, namely Shahid Ali and Sufian Ahmad. PHP team Pensra Faisalabad arrested miscreant namely Umar Farooq and Shabbir and also recovered a pistol from their possession. PHP Post Tahirabad, Jhang recovered one liter liquor, a short gun and a pistol from the possession of a suspicious person namely Umar Daraz.
PHP Post Kadhar, Mandi Bahauddin recovered a Kalashnikov alongwith 38 bullets from the possession of a suspicious person namely Riasat Ali.
