SAHIWAL, Sept 25: Ghala Mandi police arrested four men over a dacoity at a private CNG pump located on Sahiwal-Multan Road.
Allegedly, CNG station’s employee Zubair alias Billa was the mastermind of the dacoity. Police arrested the dacoits from Tandliyain Wala, Noor Shah and Dunyapur within 48 hours of the incident.
Four men looted a CNG pump and took away a car, Rs170,000, 30-bore pistol, three mobile phones and a pump action gun.
DPO Sayyed Khurram assigned SHO Farrukh Javed, ASIs Amir Farooq and Khurram to arrest the dacoits. Using mobile trackers, the police located the culprits and arrested them.
They were identified as Billa, Saeed Ahmed, Muhammad Tariq and Husain. Police recovered all valuables worth Rs1.2 million.
