Spray at police stations ordered

LAHORE - Capital City Police Officer Ahmad Raza Tahir has ordered that no lethargy should be shown in ensuring dengue spray at Lahore police stations and offices.

CCPO said that stalls, setup by the Punjab government for the convenience of the people in connection with dengue, are being manned by Police personnel to provide them fool-proof security, whereas continuous coordination is being made with the dengue committees in Lahore.

According to a police spokesman, the number of policemen affected by dengue fever has swelled by 239 including 197 Constables, seven Head Constables, 20 ASIs, 12 Sub Inspectors, Two Inspectors, and one DSP, whereas the One Jawan of Mujahid Squad, Constable Attah Ullah, has expired due to the fever.

CCPO ordered provision of immediate and prompt medical treatment to the all sick police personnel.
