LAHORE: CCPO Amin Wains has said that the honest officers with outstanding performance would be encouraged and those cops who failed to deliver in the field would be taken to task. He stated this while addressing a ceremony held to reward the officers with best performance at the police lines Qila Gujjar Singh on Wednesday.
The CCPO also awarded cash prizes among 21 policemen who showed tremendous performance during the month of October. Model Town SP Muhammad Baqir Raza was declared the best SP of the month and given Rs 25,000 cash award. Similarly, Lahore CIA SP Omar Virk was given the award of best investigation officer of the month while SP Ijaz Shafi Dogar was selected as 2nd best SP of the month. Both were given Rs 50,000 cash prizes.
A police spokesperson said that the CCPO also awarded cash prizes among 21 policemen for showing best performance in the field of operations, investigations, and crimes investigation agency. The city police chief gave cash prize of Rs25,000 each and commendatory certificates to SP Cantonment Mustafa Hameed on being declared as Best SP of the Month (Investigation) and Dr Rizwan SP Investigation Model Town on being Second Best SP.
The CCPO awarded special prizes of Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 besides commendatory certificates to SP City Asad Sarfraz and DSP Rang Mehal Attiq Sindhu respectively on showing outstanding performance during Muharram.
