LAHORE –The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) arrested seven suspects and recovered six unlicenced firearms including one Kalashinkov, a rifle, four pistols, 20 litters liquor from different areas of the Punjab on Sunday.
The firearms were recovered from Rawalpindi from one Abdullah, from Hakam Raza of Shandhuwan Tarar, Anwar Ali of Faisalabad, Amanat Ail of Jhang, Ghulab Ali of Bahawalnagar, Ghulam Sarwar of Mana Bangla. PHP Ghumanwala arrested two suspicious persons namely Arshad, Hassan and recovered two litres of liquor from their possession. PHP Sargodha recovered a bottle of liquor from M Iqbal whereas PHP Hafizabad recovered 1 bottle of liquor from Ghulam Mohammad. PHP Khanewal recovered 15 liter liquor from the possession of two suspicious persons Manzor Ahmad and Mukhtar. PHP Faisalabad and Pakpattan arrested five drunkard persons namely M. Iqbal, M. Shahzad, M. Irshad, Saghar and Muhammad Imran.
