LAHORE: Police on Thursday busted a gang of robbers, seized their weapons and recovered looted money and jewellery from them. One of the three robbers arrested by Gulberg police was identified as Raheel.
The three were wanted by police in a number of cases of robberies. A case had been registered against them.
Separately, a woman committed suicide over a domestic dispute in Nishat Colony, South Cantonment.
Police said Farheen, a resident of Karachi, had been living with her husband in Nishat Colony for six months. Her husband, an employee at a sugar mills, used to fight with her over petty issues.
On Thursday, she shot herself dead. The body was removed to the city morgue for autopsy.
Farheen is survived by two children. INP
