2 kidnapped kids recovered

LAHORE - The CIA police Lahore claimed to have arrested five members of a kidnapping gang and recovered Rs. 228,000 n cash, a motorcycle, two SIMs, a pistol and five bullets from them.
 
This was disclosed by SSP Investigation Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera during his maiden press conference at the Investigations Headquarters, Qila Gujjar Singh, on Tuesday.
 
SSP said they were working hard to arrest the accused involved in kidnapping of a two-year-old girl abducted a month before in front of her house by two unidentified motorcyclists in Baghbanpura, four-year-old boy kidnapped a week before from Badami Bagh and an abduction-cum-murder of a seven-year-old boy kidnapped from Wahdat Colony three months ago. SSP said accused Shahzeb alias Bhaloo, Ali Ashfaq, Naveed Boota, Sarmad and Sami Ullah had kidnapped Moeez, son of Abdul Razzaq, a resident of Kot Lakhpat in front of her house on July 24, 2015. He said they had demanded one million rupees ransom money from the parents of the victim. The victim’s family paid a ransom amount of Rs. 350,000 for the release of their son. He said an FIR No. 823/15 under Sections 363/365-A was registered against the accused  on July 24. However, the case was shifted to CIA police on failure to arrest the accused. He said a similar bid was conducted by the accused in Nihstar Colony in which Muhammad Husnain 5, son of Muhammad Hanif, was kidnapped by the accused on November 25, 2015.
 
The victim’s father had won general councillor's election recently. The accused demanded Rs. five million from victim’s family. The victim’s family remained in contact with the accused for the delivery of the ransom amount on the direction of police.
