RAWALPINDI. Police arrested a man who attempted to rape and molest a 13-year-old girl within the limits of Taxila Police Station. According to police, the victim's mother in her complaint made to Taxila police said that the accused named Nasir carried out explicit acts with her daughter and tried to rape her. Taxila police immediately registered a case on the complaint and arrested him. SP Potohar Muhammad Wagas Khan commenting on the incident said that all legal requirements will be fulfilled to punish the accused. Violence, abuse and harassment against women and children is intolerable, he said, adding that a zero-tolerance policy is being ensured in this regard.
