Big success in ongoing operation to arrest proclaimed offenders abroad, dangerous shooter and extortionist arrested in Dubai.
A team of Special Operation Cell under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Khalid Varya reached Pakistan after arresting professional shooter and extortionist Abdul Jabbar.
More than 6 cases are registered against the accused in different police stations, the accused had fled to Dubai two years ago after the incident.

The pursuit of fugitive proclaimed offenders abroad should be intensified with the cooperation of Interpol and FIA.
Punjab Police is working day and night to arrest fugitive proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes, and in this regard, the team of Special Operation Cell, CIA Gujranwala under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Khalid Varya reached back to Pakistan after arresting professional shooter and extortion proclaimed offender Abdul Jabbar from Dubai. The accused was wanted by the police of different police stations of Gujranwala division in several cases who escaped to Dubai after the paid crime incidents two years ago. It is noteworthy that During the last two months, Punjab Police teams have arrested 18 dangerous proclaimed offenders from other countries including America, Britain, Europe, South Africa, Greece and Gulf states and brought them to Pakistan.
IG Punjab lauded CPO Gujranwala Rana Ayaz Saleem and the team that arrested the dangerous proclaimed offenders and said that with the cooperation of Interpol and FIA, the pursuit of fugitives abroad should be intensified. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the passports of the proclaimed offenders of serious crimes should be cancelled, information sharing and effective actions should be taken against them. IG Punjab directed that the RPOs, DPOs in their regions and districts also speed up the combing operations to arrest the proclaimed offenders and habitual criminals in order to get them severely punished.
