The process of health screening of the police force continues on the instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar
A target was given by IG Punjab to conduct health screening of 50% of the force by May 15.

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the health screening of the police force is continued across the province. DIG Establishment Dr. Inam Waheed told in a video message about the health screening of police officers & personnel that the target of health screening of 50 percent of the force was given by IG Punjab till May 15 and so far health screening of more than 58 percent i.e. 01 lakh 20 officers and officials have been completed. Dr. Inam Waheed said that as a result of the health screening, the facts about the officers and personnel suffering from various diseases have been revealed . Likewise, hepatitis B&C, blood sugar, high blood pressure and cancer were diagnosed among employees. Dr. Inam Waheed said that the treatment of the affected officers and personnel would be started as soon as the health screening process is completed. He added that timely diagnosis and treatment of the disease would improve the service delivery of the officers and personnel. DIG Establishment Dr. Inam Waheed further said that the process of health screening of the force would remain continued on an annual basis.
