Best Performance During Duty / Cash Rewards and Certificates of Appreciation
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar continues to encourage officers and personnel for their excellent performance during duty.
In the ceremony held at the Central Police Office, cash prizes of around 13 lac 57 thousand rupees were distributed to 85 officers and personnel along with commendation certificates. 
Convey this respect and prestige received from the department to the citizens by more responsible performance of duties and excellent services.  Dr Usman Anwar directed.

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of departmental promotions of officers and personnel at the level of ranges and districts is continued.  In this regard, hundreds of ASIs and Head Constables of Gujranwala region have been promoted to the next ranks.  According to the details, a promotion board session  was held in the regional police office under the chair  of RPO Gujranwala Dr. Haider Ashraf for promotion to the rank of ASI and sub-inspector, in which 111 ASIs were promoted to sub-inspectors and 135 head constables were promoted to ASI.   RPO Gujranwala Dr Haider Ashraf said that 135 constables would  be promoted to the post of Head Constables in the meeting held on Monday.  RPO Gujranwala further said that 687 officials were given departmental promotion in five sessions of promotion board during one and a half month, 312 ASIs were promoted to sub-inspectors and 375 head constables were promoted to the posts of ASIs.  RPO Gujranwala Dr Haider Ashraf further said that departmental promotion according to merit and seniority is the basic right of every police officer and official which will be ensured  in any case.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar continues to encourage the officers and personnel for their excellent performance during duty. In this regard, in a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, 85 officers and personnel received cash prizes of  about 13 lakh 57 thousand rupees and commendation certificates. The recipients of the prizes included 85 officers and officials of the districts in Multan region, including 28 sub-inspectors, 15 ASIs, 6 head constables and 36 constables.  Sub-inspectors were given Rs 25 thousand each , ASIs Rs 15 thousand each , head constables Rs 12 thousand each and constables Rs 10 thousand  each.
IG Punjab gave Shabash the officers and officials who received the awards and directed them to work harder than before and said to perform their duties with more diligence in order to protect  life and property of the citizens and eliminate crimes.  IG Punjab directed that this honor received from the department should be conveyed to the citizens by more responsible performance of duties and best services and spare no effort for the immediate solution of  problems faced by the oppressed, destitute, elderly and women citizens.
