On the instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, 351 sub-inspectors were promoted to the rank of inspectors.
Earlier, 1034 sub-inspectors were promoted, an increase of 351, taking the total number of promotions to inspector rank to 1385 in four months.
31 sub-inspectors of Lahore, 61 of Bahawalpur region, 20 of DG Khan, 28 of Faisalabad, 42 of Gujranwala were promoted as inspectors.
23 sub-inspectors from Gujarat, 18 from Multan, 33 from Rawalpindi, 9 from Sahiwal, 56 from Sargodha, 30 from Sheikhupura were promoted to inspectors.
IG Punjab congratulated the promoted inspectors and directed to perform their duties diligently.
On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of promotion from constable to DSP rank is going on uninterruptedly in Punjab Police according to merit and seniority. In the promotion board meeting held in this regard, 351 sub-inspectors were promoted to inspectors. According to the details, the promotion board meeting for promotion to inspector rank was held at the Central Police Office, today. In the meeting held under the direction of Additional IG Establishment Raja Riffat Mukhtar, relevant officers and staff including DIG Inam Waheed Khan participated in promotion board session. The cases of 819 sub-inspectors serving in different regions and districts of the province were considered. On the reports of the promotion board, IG Punjab approved the promotion of 351 sub-inspectors to the post of inspectors who fulfilled the rules and regulations. Among those promoted are 31 from Lahore, 61 from Bahawalpur region, 20 from DG Khan region, 28 from Faisalabad region, 42 from Gujranwala region, 23 from Gujarat region, 18 from Multan region, 33 from Rawalpindi region, 9 from Sahiwal region. 56 sub-inspectors of Sargodha region Whereas, 30 sub-inspectors of Sheikhupura region were promoted to the rank of inspectors. Earlier, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has given promotion to 1034 sub-inspectors. With the addition of 351 inspectors, the total number of promotions to inspector rank in four months has reached 1385. Spokesman Punjab Police said that the process of departmental promotions is going on in the police force under the leadership of IG Punjab and the number of promotions in the last four months is more than the promotions in the last 10 years. IG Punjab congratulated the promoted inspectors and directed to fulfill duties with great effort. Dr. Usman Anwar said that this honor received by the department should be conveyed to the public by better performance of duties.
