Punjab Police is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of the force and their families

So far this year, more than 05 crore 08 lakh rupees have been spent on the health welfare of the force, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, priority measures are being taken for the health welfare of the police force and their families, During which more than 05 crore 08 lakh rupees have been spent on the health welfare of the force so far this year.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that financial support was provided to 670 officers and personnel posted in various districts including the provincial capital Lahore. Cochlear implants surgeries were arranged for hearing impaired children of the employees, money was provided for the treatment of children suffering from thalassemia and cerebral palsy. IG Punjab said that uninterrupted and timely measures are being taken for the early rehabilitation of officers and officials who got injured in the line of duty. IGP Punjab said that 41 new projects were started for police welfare, from which the measures for the health welfare of the employees will be intensified in the future.
