LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol police have arrested 26 criminals and recovered timber worth Rs 853,000, illicit arms and 610 Kg unhygienic meat.
PHP officials handed over the arrested persons and stolen items to local police for legal action.
Three dacoits--Haydar Ali, Jahanzaib and Dilwar of Faisalabad were killed in an encounter with PHP along with local police, sources added.
