BAHAWALPUR: Bahawalpur district police officer Ishaq Jahangir on Tuesday took notice of delay in investigation of various complaints and directed the station house officers concerned to accelerate work.
He directed the SHOs to submit progress reports in these cases to his office. He issued these instructions at an open court.
The SHOs summoned at the occasion were Cantonment SHO Afzal Lodhi; Derawer SHO; Kotwali SHO; Saddar SHO; Dera Nawab SHO and Baghdadul Jadeed SHO.
On one Muhammad Saleem’s civil complaint, DSP Ahmadpur Sharqia was directed to hold a meeting between the two parties and report back to the DPO’s office on the issue.
SP (Investigations) Azhar Gujjar, ASP Baqa Muhammad Bugti, PRO Mohsin Sardar and Complaint Cell In Charge Muhammad Anwer were also present at the occasion.
