Crackdown on non-custom paid vehicles

LAHORE – City Traffic Police and Excise and Taxation Department Punjab launched a crackdown on non-tax paid and unregistered vehicles in the City and imposed heavy fines against defaulters in May.

According to traffic police spokesman, joint raiding teams set up pickets in the areas of Alhamra Hall, The Mall, Barkat Market, Saggian Pul, Liberty Market, Walton and Mughalpura and collected Rs 2,063,000 from the defaulters.

The crackdown would continue until the end of current financial year.
