Punjab Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera Monday met with the electronic and print media journalists at an informal meeting arranged at Central Police Office.
Talking to the media representatives, the IGP said the commonality of the working of police and journalist is the same as both are trying to eliminate crime from society and ensure provision of the justice to the needy people.
He said as compared to the other stakeholders of society the role of the media is very important as they can help the police department provide justice.
