IGP praises Attock police

Lahore - Punjab Inspector General Police Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has lauded the bravery and commitment of Attock Police for their gallantry role to impede the miscreants.

Addressing the Police Darbar at Attock Police lines yesterday, the IGP said the Attock Police deserve appreciation for maintaining law and order to protect the integrity of the country.
Sukhera also directed Attock DPO Zahid Nawaz Marwat to give priority to the welfare of the police officials and to improve hygienic condition of the Police Lines by improving facilities of mess, barber shop, recreation room and gym.

He further directed to send summary for the funds required in this matter so that funds could be provided on priority basis.

“We are proud that we are part of a force which is legatee of more than 700 martyrs which has given a lot of sacrifices for protection of citizens and to maintain law and order,” IGP Sukhera said while expressing the hope that Punjab Police will leave no stone unturned to make sure the protection of the country and nation.

DPO Zahid Nawaz Marwat, on the occasion, thanked Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera for taking important measures to strengthen Punjab Police to meet the challenges of the modern era and for taking initiatives for welfare of the Police force.
