OKARA: Punjab IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has said that honest and courageous police officials can fight against crimes. He said this while addressing a gathering after laying foundation stone of Haveli Lakha police station building on Sunday.
The IGP was received by MNA Mian Moeen Khan Watto and DPO Hassan Asad Alvi. Mushtaq Sukhera said that the Punjab government was fully supporting the police department and providing funds and required machinery. The IGP said that the Okara district was relatively less crime area. He lauded the efforts of former DPO Muhammad Faisal Rana for taking steps to eradicate crimes from the district.
