Lahore: Newly-appointed Inspector General of Punjab Police Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman Khattak has said the operation against terrorists, their facilitators and anti-social elements would continue with the same spirit across the province.
He said all available resources would be utilized to protect the life and property of citizens. Khattak said the IT-led initiatives taken by former IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera would be continuing with the same pace.
The IGP was talking to reporters after assuming the office at Central Police Office (CPO).
He said he would ensure change in police station culture so that complainants visiting the police stations could get decent treatment.
