Seven Grenades Recovered in Attock

ATTOCK - The Attock police on Tuesday claimed to foil a terror bid and recovered seven grenades in the limits of Injra Police Station.

Sub-divisional Police Officer Mohammad Anwer told newsmen that the police found the grenades from a dried bed of a seasonal stream located near Bharwala. He said that the locally-made grenades were hidden for use for a possible sabotage activity. He said that a search operation was launched in the nearby area to check the possibility of the presence of suspected elements. A case has registered and further investigation is underway.
