Milad Mehfil Organised by Police

BAHAWALPUR: A milad ceremony was held by Bahawalpur police in connection with the Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH). The ceremony started with a recitation from the Holy Quran followed by a hamd.

Speaking on the occasion, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Riffat Mukhtar Raja said Muslims should follow the teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

District Police Officer Cap (r) Mustansar Feroze urged the police officers to follow the life of the holy Prophet to achieve success in their life. During the ceremony, five police officers won the prize of a ticket to perform Umrah, through a ballot.

The participants also prayed for peace and prosperity of the country. SP (investigation) Rab Nawaz, DSPs and SHOs of districts and others were present on the occasion.
