MULTAN: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed on Thursday to have arrested three activists of a proscribed organisation who were allegedly planning to attack sensitive installations and government institutes.
The CTD received information that three suspected militants were present near Balochanwala Bagh in Nawabpur area and were going to attack some sensitive installations. A CTD team reached the spot and arrested three suspects identified as Muzamil, Akram and Abdul Majid.
The team seized weapons, including a hand grenade, explosives and bullets from the suspects who were shifted to some unidentified location for investigation.
