Inspector General Police Punjab, Amjad Javed Saleemi applauded the Sialkot Police for recovering one million rupees which were given to abductors as a ransom and arresting the three accused. IG Punjab announced commendation certificates and two lac cash for all team in this regard.
According to the details the abductors kidnapped son of an industrialist and member of Sialkot chamber Abdul Rehman s/o Javed Cheema from area of Police station Ugoki and released him after getting one million rupees as ransom. Upon information to Police, the DPO Sialkot Ameer Abdullah Niazi constituted a team to arrest the accused.
The constituted team of DPO while taking strategic actions arrested the accused namely Iqbal, Asad Ullah and Hamza and also recovered the ransom amount of one million rupees. The DPO had requested to IGP to award two lac rupees to acknowledge the performance of police team.
IG Punjab Amjad Javed Saleemi sanctioned the request and awarded two lac in cash to police team for recovery of one million rupees of ransom and arrested the accused. He further said that any kind of negligence or carelessness is not tolerated in police, similarly, every obedient ,brave and dutiful officer and official is encouraged at every level.
