The issue of firing at police van in DG Khan. IG Punjab took notice of the incident; RPO Dera Ghazi Khan submitted a detailed report regarding the matter.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Amjad Javed Saleemi sought a detailed report regarding firing on Punjab highway patrolling van in DG Khan from the concerned officers. RPO DG Khan Umar sheikh submitted a detailed report in this regard.
According to the details in the area of Pul Notak near PHP post Shadan Lund, some unknown persons, under the influence of weapons, snatched Honda 125 motorcycle from a citizen Muhammad Ramzan and opened fire on resistance. After hearing gunshots the nearby patrolling police shift team reached on the spot. Culprits laced with weapons also opened fire on police party. Resultantly, 3 constables Ghulam Fareed, Irshad Hussain and Muhammad Ismail got injured. Upon information of the incident, DPO DG Khan Atif Nazeer, SP investigation DG Khan, DSP circle sadar, SHO police station Kala and Incharge crime unit reached at the spot and started legal proceedings.
According to directions of IG Punjab Amjad javed Saleemi best treatment facilities are being provided to injured police officials at district headquarters hospital DG Khan. Local police is also conducting raids for arrest of the accused.
