IG Punjab Captain ® Arif Nawaz Khan visited house of martyr of Data Darbar blast head constable Shahid Nazeer at Kasur.
Offered fateha for higher ranks of Shahid Nazeer and assured his family of every possible cooperation from Punjab police.
Inspector general police Punjab cap ® Arif Nawaz khan said that brave and dutiful officer and officials laying their lives in the line of duty are the asset of Punjab police and as head of the Punjab police welfare of the families of police martyrs is my personal responsibility, will continue to take initiatives for it on priority basis. He further said that families of police martyrs are like my own and I am personally monitoring the resolution of their problems so that feel protected. He further said that for upholding the rule of law in society and protecting the life and property of the public, Punjab police is ready for any sacrifice and operations and crackdown against anti-social elements and terrorists will be completed with new zeal. He expressed these views while talking to media during his visit to the house of Data Darbar blast martyr Elite Force head constable Shahid Nazeer at Mustafabad, Kasur today. During the meeting IG Punjab assured complete cooperation of Punjab police to Shahid’s family and offered Fateha for higher ranks of martyr. At this occasion DPO Kasur Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani along with other senior officers were present.
While talking to media IG Punjab said that Punjab Police has more than 1450 martyrs including all ranks officers and officials from DIG to constable. Police force is playing the role of front line soldier in war against terrorism and no incident or attack can shake our resolve and commitment. He further said that to bring justice to the master mind and facilitators of data darbar blat is a big challenge for Lahore Police and Police, CTD and other institutes are working in cooperation to solve this case. He further said that in data darbar blast 12 valuable lives were lost including 5 police officials and 7 innocent civilians so investigation is being done with complete focus to apprehend the anti-social elements as soon as possible. He further said that all evidences were analyzed during the course of investigation, am also in contact with the investigation team but at this time it is early to say something, after the complete investigation will share facts with media and public.
