Police official Muhamad Asif dismissed from service on account of misbehaving with an aged woman at the entrance gate of Central Police Office said official was given major punishment after a departmental inquiry. According to the details official, Muhamad Asif deputed as a guard on the gate of CPO Complex misbehaved with a woman named Kundan Bibi belongs to Muzaffargarh resident of Raiwind Lahore, the incident caused a major blow to the dignity and prestige of police department. IG Punjab Captain (retired) Arif Nawaz Khan directed to conduct an inquiry taking legal and departmental action against Muhamad Asif, subsequently inquiry was conducted by DSP Syed Riaz Ali Shah and in his report he recommended major punishment for Muhamad Asif and in the light of his recommendation SSP/Battalion Commander Mufakhar Adeel issued dismissal orders.

According to the details during in Ordelry room Muhamad Asif also failed to explain or give any plausible reason for his reckless attitude and misbehavior due to which departmental action was taken against him and on account of causing damage to prestige of the department he was given major punishment and was dismissed from service under Punjab Police Rules (E&D) 1975. Inspector General Police Punjab Captain (retired) Arif Nawaz Khan directed officers that there is no place for the officers and officials misbehaving with the public especially in case of violation of SOP,s in public dealing there should be no delay in departmental and legal action against the responsible. He further said that due to the non-professional attitude of some black sheeps of the department all of the Punjab police face criticism despite the fact that we have sacrificed thousands of lives, this is not acceptable in any case and such irresponsible officers and officials must be punished strictly according to the discipline matrix.
