Inspector General Police Punjab Capt (r) Arif Nawaz Khan said that no slackness will be tolerated in cases of violence against women and children so all district officer must get progress report of such cases from SP,s on daily basis and should employee latest techniques like geo-fencing, forensic science so that criminals could be brought to justice. He further directed that summary for approval of safe city projects and CCTV in all Tehsils of Kasur must be prepared at earliest while SHO, s in Kasur must get training from School of Investigation before appointment as SHO so that they can perform their duties efficiently. He further said that all important roads sensitive places must be continuously monitored through CCTV cameras because for effective policing use of the latest technology is the need of the hour. He directed RPO and DPO Kausr to assign the investigation of child and women missing and abduction cases to expert and hardworking officers with a proven track record to solve such cases so those anti-social elements could be held accountable.  He expressed these views while issuing directions to the officers during a meeting regarding up-gradation of Kasur Police and prevention and control of child violence.

During meeting RPO and DPO Sheikhupura briefed IG Punjab about the cases of missing children and police performance that in all Tehsils of Kasur child abduction and other related cases are being traced out on priority basis and to further strengthen the coordination between community and police Community Liaison Officer are appointed at police stations and this initiative has been very helpful in resolving and addressing the public complaints. He also directed RPO Sheikhupura and DPO Kasur to shuffle the officers having posting at same police station repeatedly and replace them with new and hardworking officials. IG Punjab directed officers to improve the performance of beat officers across all Police stations of Kasur and should perform their duty at high alert so that no son of any mother has to face the sexual violence. He further said that to enhance the capacity of investigation officers according to the latest knowledge and development in the field of investigation, deputed at police stations phase wise refresher courses and training workshops must be arranged. During meeting Addl IG Establishment Capt r Ahmad Latif, Addl IG welfare and Finance Rao Sardar, Addl IG Ali Amir Malik, Addl IG CTD Muhammad Tahir Rai, DIG Establishment ii Maqsood Ul Hassan, RPO Kasur Dr Sohail Habib Tajik, DIG Establishment i Raja Riffat Mukhtar, DIG Headquarter Syed Khurram Ali, AIG Finance Dr Muhammad Shehzad Asif DPO Kasur Zahid Nawaz Marwat and other officers were present.
