LAHORE: CCPO Lahore Amjad Javed Saleemi has stressed the need for conducting computer courses for police officials to meet the demands of modern age.
He directed that Citizen’s Feedback Cell should be further strengthened through police website, so that citizens could send their complaints and proposals for eradication of crimes. He was talking to media-men at the launching of police website at his office.
CCPO Lahore said the importance of interactive media could not be denied and computer and internet were very important in present age.
He said that besides Citizen Feedback System, website, Registration of FIR, completion of challans and provision of other information would also be made available on this website. He said that photographs of most wanted criminals would also be uploaded on the website, so that people could immediately inform police about their presence and activities.
He said that website of Lahore Police would also enable verification of SIMs, registration numbers of motorcycles and cars.
