LAHORE: Iqbal Town CIA police claim to have arrested five proclaimed offenders involved in murders and vehicle snatching. CCPO Chaudhry Shafiq while taking notice of murders, dacoities, vehicle snatching and other crimes ordered investigation and operations deputy inspector generals to arrest the culprits.
According to a press release, CIA SP Umer Virk constituted a team headed by the Iqbal Town CIA DSP that arrested Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Zubair, Waseem, Shafqatullah and Asif Ali.
Ali and Zubair were accused of kidnapping and murdering a girl from Iqbal Town after receiving Rsl00,000 from Amanat Ali Shahzad in order to grab her property. They were also accused of murdering former tehsildar Muhammad Sharif and 'Babu Cable Wala' of Shadbagh.
