Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) team comprising ASI Javaid Iqbal and other officials were carrying out routine patrolling near Ali Wala Chowk when they received a wireless message from the control centre that some unidentified men traveling on a GLI car had kidnapped two girls from Lahore and were fleeing.
The PHP team stopped the car at Sher Shah Flyover and rescued a girl, Rimsha, and arrested Sajjad Ahmad, Fiaz Ahmad, Fatima and Asma.
