DERA GHAZI KHAN: Police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested six people with a cache of arms during search operation carried out in the Kala police jurisdiction.
As part of the National Action Plan, a team of district police and Counter-Terrorism Department conducted raids in seminaries and arrested six suspects.
District Police Officer Ghulam Mubashar Maikin told Dawn that police had arrested six suspects including Shaukat, Azmatullah, Haider and Karim Bakhsh and seized illegal arms and bullets. He said police also conducted search operation in the riverine area Bait Swai and adjacent tribal area.
