Frequency of police FM Radio changed

LAHORE, Dec 2: The City Traffic Police department has changed its frequency from FM Radio Rasta 88.8 to FM 88.6, said a press release issued here on Friday.

Chief Traffic Officer Capt Ahmad Mobeen (retired) said that commuters could use new frequency to know about traffic situation on different roads to reach their destinations.

He said it would provide 24-hour guidance to reach the airport, information on flights schedules, weather report besides broadcast of programmes on traffic awareness.

Different entertainment programmes would also be presented. Radio transmission can also be received at the Lahore Traffic Police website: www.rasta.pk.

The CTO said the commuters could also contact traffic helpline 0421915 to know about the diversion plans, traffic situation on city`s major arteries besides any other help relating to traffic issues.
